Our commitments
- We follow the principles of Keeping Children Safe in Education (KCSIE) and the UK Children's Code (Age Appropriate Design Code).
- Our Designated Safeguarding Lead is [Name, Role], contactable at [safeguarding@yourdomain.com].
- All staff who can access child data complete safeguarding training and are subject to [DBS / background check policy].
AI content moderation
Some practice questions on Supercurriculum are generated by AI to keep activities fresh and adaptive. Every AI-generated item is automatically:
- Constrained by the England National Curriculum strand and the learner's year group.
- Checked against content rules that block adult, violent, self-harm and other unsafe topics.
- Validated for structure (four options, one correct answer, age-appropriate language) before it is ever shown.
- Stored so the team can review, remove or improve items at any time.
If you believe an item is inappropriate, please tell us — the report option in the practice screen flags the item for immediate review.
No open chat between users
Supercurriculum does not include any open chat, direct messaging, forums, comments or social features between users. Children cannot contact one another through the platform, and adults cannot contact children through the platform other than via the structured teacher/guardian relationship within their school account.
AI tutor guardrails
Where AI assistance is offered to learners, it is scoped strictly to the curriculum topic in front of them. The AI cannot accept personal information, cannot route children to external websites, and is monitored for unsafe outputs. Conversations are logged and available to the school's designated staff.
